| VISION |
Li Tang Community is a New York–based, artist-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to amplifying the creative voices of the global Asian diaspora. Established in April 2020, the organization highlights the work and talent of contemporary Asian diasporic practitioners across diverse disciplines, including art, design, and culture.
The name Li Tang derives from the Chinese word 礼堂 / 禮堂, meaning “Assembly Hall.” Conceived as a safe and inclusive space, Li Tang Community provides a platform for members of the Asian diaspora to express themselves freely—without concern for appearance, accent, ethnicity, or linguistic imperfection. Through ongoing collaborations with art professionals, the organization fosters a dynamic ecosystem where artists, designers, curators, collectors, and other cultural practitioners exchange ideas, share their latest news and practices, and envision the future of contemporary art and design.

Li Tang Community extends invitations to both emerging and established Asian creatives worldwide, encouraging recommendations from the global Asian diaspora. By valuing these recommendations, the community highlights individuals who may not yet be commercially recognized but are making significant contributions to the arts. Fostering deeper connections among members cultivates a more supportive and collaborative network.
As it grows, Li Tang Community aspires to serve as a vital archive documenting the diverse and groundbreaking works of Asian diaspora artists and cultural producers forging innovative paths globally. It remains dedicated to exploring new ways to provide opportunities, foster creativity, and nurture a vibrant, inclusive environment for its community.
