Li Tang Community is a New York-based, artist-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to amplifying the creative voices of the worldwide Asian diaspora. Membership is free to apply and undergoes a jury selection process conducted by a board of artists, curators, and art professionals.
Membership Categories
1. Li Tang Community Membership – Friend
(Fees: Free | Best for artists, designers, curators, and all other art professionals who just get started)
- Open to all artists who pass the jury selection process.
- Eligible for one artist interview, social media, and email newsletter promotion.
- Eligible to apply for Li Tang Community events.
- Eligible to apply for the annual Li Tang Community exhibition open call.
2. Li Tang Community Membership – Patron
(Fees: $100 Annual Donation | Best for active artists, designers, curators, and all other art professionals)
- Includes all benefits of the Friend membership.
- Waived application fees for all Li Tang Community events – such as art exhibitions, workshops, artist talks, art reviews, and virtual curation – with a valid membership status.
- Access to participate in one Li Tang Community internal team meeting and interact with leadership members with Q&A sections.
- Access to apply for Patron Membership-only events.
- Eligible to join the exclusive Li Tang Community networking events.
3. Li Tang Community Membership – Supporters Circle
(Fees: Make a donation of any amount to support us. | Best for art lovers, community supporters with a passion for art)
- Eligible to join the exclusive Li Tang Community networking events.
- Donors who contribute to supporting our programs will have their names presented on our website. Individuals who donate $500 or more within a calendar year will receive special recognition.
- Businesses or individuals who donate to support our events will be acknowledged on event posters and all promotional materials.
Submit an artist bio and 3 artwork samples (less than 1MB per image) to be considered a Friend or Patron membership. Supporters Circle membership does not require an artist or designer background.
All donations will go to support Li Tang Community, Inc.’s charitable purposes, supporting its mission to uplift and promote artists within the Asian diaspora.
