Li Tang Community is a New York-based artist-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to amplifying the creative voices of the worldwide Asian diaspora. Founded in April 2020, Li Tang Community aims to feature the works and talents of today’s most innovative Asian practitioners working in the varied fields of art, design, and contemporary culture.
Li Tang Community is celebrating five years of contributions to the Asian diaspora creative communities! We have featured over 100 professional Asian artists and published nearly 200 art news articles on a voluntary basis. Throughout its journey, Li Tang Community has maintained strong relationships with galleries and institutions that support the Asian art context. Our work has been recognized in mainstream media such as Los Angeles Post, New York Today, Daily Herald, The Paper, FOX40, Tencent, Art China, Sohu, and more.
This milestone celebration, co-produced by THE BLANC x Li Tang Community, will present a dynamic series of events under the theme “Language of Visibility: Celebrating the Creativity of the Asian Diaspora.” This initiative brings together diverse voices, fosters cross-cultural dialogue, and highlights the profound impact of Asian creatives worldwide.

Presented by THE BLANC x Li Tang Community
Li Tang Community invites artists to submit their work and proposals for Language of Visibility, a multidisciplinary celebration in May 2025 highlighting the creative voices of the Asian diaspora. This special program will feature exhibitions, panel discussions, live performances, workshops, and networking events, offering a dynamic platform for artists across disciplines to showcase their work, share their ideas, and connect with the wider art community.

Submission Categories & Fees
Artists may submit to participate in multiple events of the program:
* Li Tang Community 5th Anniversary Exhibition – Collective Marks and Strokes of Imagination
Artists will be selected through three channels:
- Li Tang Community Internal Open Call – Exclusive to Li Tang Community members. ($25 per entry)
- Gallery & Institution Recommendations – Partner galleries and institutions will recommend 3-5 artists for inclusion in the curatorial proposal.
- Invited Artists – Selected Li Tang Community members will receive direct invitations.
* Artist Talks, Panel Discussions, and Live Performances co-produced by THE BLANC x Li Tang Community ($15 per entry)
All submission fees will be waived with a valid Li Tang Community Patron membership status. All fees collected will be donated to Li Tang Community, Inc. for charitable purposes.
Eligibility & Guidelines
- Open to all artists of Asian descent worldwide.
- Artists working in any visual or performing art form are welcome to apply.
- Proposals for talks, panels, and performances should align with the theme: Language of Visibility – Celebrating the Creativity of the Asian Diaspora.

- Submission Deadline: April 10, 2025
- Notification of Selection: April 15, 2025
How to Submit
- Click the APPLY NOW button to complete the submission form, and donate the submission fees.
- For exhibition submissions: Provide an artist bio (150 words max) and upload up to 3 images of your work.
- For artist talks, panels, and performances: Provide a brief proposal (max 300 words).
